Sustainability Policy

ED4S integrates sustainability at the core of its mission to deliver high-quality learning solutions that advance environmental and social progress. This policy outlines our principles, commitments, and expectations, and serves as the umbrella document for our sustainability-related policies. 

1. PURPOSE

ED4S integrates sustainability at the core of its mission to deliver high-quality learning solutions that advance environmental and social progress. This policy outlines our principles, commitments, and expectations, and serves as the umbrella document for our sustainability-related policies.

 

2. SCOPE

​

This policy applies to all ED4S operations, employees, contractors, digital activities, suppliers contributing to service delivery, and all policies listed in our Sustainability Framework. 

 

3. ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

​

ED4S is committed to minimizing its environmental impact and embedding climate responsibility across its operations.

​

We focus on: 

​

  • Greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) 

  • Energy use (home offices, digital infrastructure) 

  • Waste and circularity 

  • Sustainable procurement 

  • Digital sustainability and cloud-related impacts
     

Our Climate Policy and Carbon Footprint Report detail our methodologies (GHG Protocol), boundaries, annual data collection, and alignment with global standards including the Paris Agreement. 


We are progressively aligning our targets with recognized frameworks such as SBTi and commit to updating our approach as standards evolve and as our company grows.

4. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

 

We foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment grounded in fairness, integrity, and human dignity.

Our commitments include:

  • Zero tolerance for discrimination and harassment (see Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy) 

  • Respect for universal human rights across all operations (see Human Rights Policy) 

  • Engaging clients, partners, employees, and suppliers in responsible and transparent business practices 

  • Integration of ethical behaviour into all activities, supported by our Ethics & Code of Conduct Policy

 

5. ETHICAL GOVERNANCE 

 

ED4S conducts all business with integrity and professionalism.


We uphold:

  • Zero tolerance for corruption and unethical conduct 

  • Responsible and compliant business relationships (supported by our Third-Party Policy) 

  • Data privacy and security commitments (see Data Protection & Privacy Policy)
     

Sustainability governance is overseen by the Founders/Directors, with the CEO acting as Sustainability Lead, responsible for policy review, reporting, and ensuring alignment across the company. 

 

6. TRAINING & AWARENESS

 

Sustainability awareness is integrated into employee onboarding and ongoing training. All staff participate in periodic updates on environmental impact, ethics, DEI, and responsible digital practices. 

 

7. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & REPORTING

 

We maintain a process of annual sustainability reviews and progressively improve our practices. 


Key components include:

  • Annual review of all sustainability policies 

  • Annual carbon footprint updates 

  • Monitoring progress through a sustainability dashboard 

  • Transparent communication to clients and stakeholders upon request 

 

8. APPROVAL & RESPONSIBILITY 

 

This policy is reviewed annually and approved by ED4S Directors.
