Sustainability isn’t easy, but progress is possible. As we welcome our community back and plan for 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on 2025, a year that challenged us, inspired us, and reinforced why our work matters.

At ED4S, our impact in 2025 centered on:

  • Raising awareness of sustainability’s role in business strategy.

  • Sharing knowledge through research, data insights, and thought leadership.

  • Developing skills via accredited ESG and sustainable finance programs.

  • Building community through professional networks and meaningful engagement.

These efforts position ED4S beyond a sustainability training provider, establishing it as a partner in ESG dialogue, professional capacity building, and change management. So, what did this translate to in 2025? The numbers tell the story:

🌍 Education & Impact

Since 2020, we’ve introduced 60,000+ employees across industries to sustainable finance. This year alone, 3,693 new learners joined our programs, growing our community to 12,500 professionals and students committed to a more resilient economy. We also trained two new cohorts with Finance Montréal, certifying 84 professionals in responsible investment and deepening expertise in SASB standards.

🚀 Innovation & Growth

We launched AdvisorSim, our AI-powered practical training solution designed to move professionals from theory to practice. We’re proud to have partnered with industry leader CFA Institute, who piloted and deployed the simulator with their members. Building on this success, we’re now scaling AdvisorSim to financial institutions to help employees apply sustainability concepts in real-world scenarios. Interested in a demo or learning more? 📚 Thought Leadership & Community

We published two white papers, 9 articles, and 12 podcast episodes, launched a free MOOC on ecological economics, supported key climate initiatives, expanded our team and advisory board, strengthened our sustainability policies, and reinforced our Montreal presence with a new office and a project reaching 1,000+ Quebec SMEs.

Looking ahead to 2026, ED4S remains committed to:
  • Make learning stick: we’ll help clients turn sustainability knowledge into real-world action, moving from theory to practice with confidence.

  • Empower sustainability leaders: We’ll provide the tools and insights to build compelling business cases for capacity building in ESG and sustainable finance, compliance courses, as well as promote sustainability training for employees.

  • Share what matters: We’ll continue producing thought leadership on ESG compliance, sustainable finance, and the trends shaping the future of business through our customizable corporate ESG training, and beyond.

- Grow our community: We’ll strengthen connections among sustainability and finance professionals through learning, collaboration, and shared experiences.

- Innovate in learning: Exciting developments are coming—stay tuned for our Green AI course!

We warmly thank our learners, partners, clients, and collaborators for being part of this journey. We look forward to building on this momentum together in 2026.
